Religious Ceremony

The procedure to get marriage by means of a Catholic religious ceremony is quicker if held in the temple closest to your home, but if you prefer another, we advise you to visit the temple that you desire ten months in advance. This way, the couple must get together with the parish and make reservations for the ceremony.

Couples with other religious beliefs must get in touch with the official or pastor in charge in the community where one of them live or where you want to hold the ceremony. The event will be held according to the regulations or religious practice.

Requirements for Catholic Ceremony:
- Birth certificate.
- Confirmation certificate.
- Updated baptist certificate (maximum three months).
- Two small photos of each.
- Official identification
- In the case that one of the couple is a widow or widower, you must present the death certificate of your previous husband or wife.
